Nowhere To Run, Nowhere To Hide

If there is nowhere to run from flesh and blood, how much more so from HaShem!

HaShem should give us all the strength to come clean and be made clean, especially from transgressions related to kedusha.

All of us together should have a g’mar chasima tova.

And HaShem should have mercy on Mr. Polanski, grant him the grace to do Tshuva, and rescue him from those who seek to do him harm.

Hashem should have mercy on Jonathan Pollard, Gilad Shalit…..
    but on Roman Polanski ?
A man who raped and sodomised a 13 year old girl?
Let him do teshuva by all means, but so far all I can see is his denials and protestations of innocence.

I hear you, very much so.

Polland and Shalit were not within the scope of the post, but ALL THE MORE so haShem should have mercy on them.

Please note that I stated that, first, Mr. P should do tshuva. The Tomer D’vora clearly states that haShem has mercy on transgressors and seeks to rescue them from punishment, if and when they do tshuva.

Given the timing of this event, it is clear that Mr. P symbolizes the Jewish people at large. They engage in serious sexual transgressions, and prance about like there’s no consequence. Suddenly and harshly, they are called to account.

After all, isn’t this what the End of Days is about, haShem should protect us all.

Is this Roman Polanski even jewish? I still don’t see the relevancy of equating a producer with the jews at large. There are some jews that are by name only but there are also those who shomer the brit like Yoseph.
